CUSTOM SPRING MAKING CAPABILITIES
The diversity of our spring portfolio is vast and serves a wide variety of industries and applications. Sterling Spring has the ability to make cylindrical, conical, barrel, and magazine compression springs that can be manufactured with closed or open ends. Our in-house grinding department is prepared to meet any spring-end grinding requirements. Sterling Spring manufactures extension springs with machine, crossover or swivel hooks, loops, or customer ends that can be extended, reduced, half, double, side, or enlarged. Additionally, we are able to handle difficult torsion and double torsion spring designs in addition to leaf, garter, power, wave, and constant force springs.
DIVERSITY OF WIRE TYPE/SIZE AND SPRING DIMENSIONS
We have the experience and equipment required to run wire sizes between .002” and .625” with outside diameter dimensions up to 10” and no limit to the free length. We manufacture springs using a wide range of spring tempered materials such as stainless steel, music wire, hard drawn, oil tempered, chrome silicon as well as exotic metals and specialty materials. We purchase RoHS compliant material. DFARS material is available upon request.
